A. Photography involves a lot more than just taking pictures! With over 20 years of experience, I’ve honed my skills not only in capturing beautiful moments but also in editing them to perfection. I use professional-grade cameras, lenses, and editing software like Adobe, all of which require a significant investment. I also have a degree in photography (BFA), which reflects my years of training and education.
There are also costs like maintaining equipment, storing large files on multiple hard drives, online galleries, business expenses (like rent, insurance, and marketing), and the time spent carefully editing each image to make sure it looks its best. All these factors are considered when pricing my sessions.
When you book with me, you’re not just paying for the time I spend with you during the shoot but also for my experience, education, tools, and the quality of images you’ll receive. It’s all about delivering a professional and memorable experience!
How many photos are included in my gallery?
A. Every session is unique, and I make sure to include all the best moments we capture. On average, a mini session results in 35+ images, a keepsake session includes 75+ images, a signature session provides 150+ images and an heirloom 200+.
In addition to the high-resolution images (of your choosing) included in your package, you’ll also have access to download the full gallery in web-sized resolution with our logo, perfect for easy social sharing.
When will we get our photos?
A. Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos generally within 3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How are the images edited?
A. We care about QUALITY. That is why every single image in your gallery is retouched, color calibrated, and adjusted to look as stunning as possible. Images that you specifically select for your package will be reviewed again for any minor detailed editing, like scrapes, fly away hairs, and more. In order to create images as beautiful as we do, our photographer has practiced for over 20 years in editing software. This is just one of the many reasons why our images look exceptional compared to others!
Will there be goats or animals at our session?
A. Baby goats are seasonal at the farm, so their availability depends on the time of year. If you're hoping to include these adorable little ones in your session, we recommend booking during the spring or early summer when they’re most likely to be around. Feel free to reach out, and we can let you know if the baby goats will be available during your desired session date!
